Finalist of the « Tremplin concours » for young postgraduate students
Born in 1992 in France, Amaury D’Hulst studied «Product Design» in Lille, then moved to Belgium to study the aesthetics of objects. It is there that he asserts his relationship with the dialogue between perception and emotion, which earned him the «Tremplin jeunes Diplômés» prize in 2018. In 2019, he pursues his studies at the Masters in Design at the Université du Québec à Montréal, where he develops his reflexive path through a creative research.
«My projets are the transcription of a personal sensibility that I try to share in each object with its user.This sensibility is expressed by the material, the form or the function. My role as an artist and designer is to offer people an exploration of visual wonder as a means of emotional well-being ».
Né en 1992 en France, Amaury D’Hulst suit une formation «Design de produit» à Lille, puis il re- joint la Belgique pour y étudier l’esthétique de l’objet. C’est là où il affirme sa relation face au dia- logue entre perception et émotion, ce qui lui vaut le prix «Tremplin jeunes Diplômés» en 2018. En 2019, il poursuit ses études à la Maitrise en Design au sein de l’Université du Québec à Montréal, où il développe son cheminement réflexif à travers une recherche création portant sur (la co-création entre designer et l’intelligence artificielle).
« Mes desseins sont la retranscription d’une sensibilité personnelle que je tente de partager dans chaque objet avec son utilisateur. Cette sensibilité est exprimée par la matière, la forme ou la fonction. Mon rôle en tant qu’artiste et designer est d’offrir aux gens une exploration d’émerveillement visuel comme moyen de bien-être émotionnel ».
